John M. Ford, 1957 - 2006

From him I learned that poetry could be formal and not archaic. From him I learned that poetry could free the imagination. I always hoped one day I'd have a chance to meet him, talk poetry, tell him how much influence he'd had on me-- I hoped he'd be pleased with the results.

Too late now. He's gone to the 111th story.

Some of his online presence is reflected here.
