The ignorant look at the moon and believe it shines with its own light.
The learned look at the moon and believe it reflects the light of the sun.
The mystics look at the moon and believe it shines with God's light.

The vain look at a mirror and see only themselves reflected.
The thoughtful look at a mirror and see the whole world reflected.
The mystics look at a mirror and see only God reflected.

Is there no moon and no mirror? There is still God.
