Lost in the Cemetery

Today's 3 Word Wednesday seems remarkably appropriate to the date: Phone. Stumbled. Windy.

man clutching cell phone
stumbled along windy path
among leaning graves

Like the too modern image of the cell phone in the timeless cemetry

I like the sense of foreboding in this piece- its like the start of a terrifying story.

I am left to wonder what the guy stumbled on in this windy pathway. It wasn't a dead body was it? Nice Halloween Haiku. Keep up the good work.

Have a nice day.

We thought similar it seems! But your haiku has so much more power.

Nice Halloween atmosphere - Haiku is such a clever form but I haven't had the nerve to try it!!

Well-written, scary. Lots of story packed in those three short lines!

What would he be doing there amongst the graves? Makes you think of a possible illicit rendezvous. =)

I definitely felt like this fit the Halloween "haunting" spirit!

Nice haiku :) I liked the rather unique use of "windy" in this one.
