Shallow-Water Blackout

Dots in my eyes, like candy-colored fish
swim to the rim of a depthless black hole
underwater cave like the sad and lightless graves
of ships that sank in my serene azure gaze.
Don’t be fooled by the cheery dance of colors
dots doing finnish shallow-water polka,
coral isn’t friendly and fish will eat your bones.

I think this part is marvellous. A wonderful ensemble of words which are the heart to this piece. Great image too.

Your poem is deep and telling of the shadows of life.

Art is wonderful as well.

big fan of taking seemingly-unrelated materials and coming up with something else/new. this sum is greater than their parts.
