Panamint

needle-peak stitching clouds together
above red cliffs. grasshoppers whir
as i lick blackberry juice from stained
fingers. they say

if you can see far
it's because you're standing on my shoulders
your mother's shoulders

my mother is a giant and her voice
is grasshoppers

Excellent use of this Poetry Stretch. I don't think it needed an extra line either. Well done. Have a nice day.
