Songs in the Key

I walked by the ocean and it sang to me
surf-songs set in the key of sea.
I walked through the world and it sang to me
life-songs set in the key of be.
The cell-door opened and it sang to me
a creaking hinge in the key of free.
The wind in the forest, it sang to me
a growth song set in the key of tree.
I walked in love and it sang to me
a ballad set in the key of we.
I wrote me a prayer and I sang it: See
a love-song set in the key of Thee.

I really like the way you used rhyme here, and you had me straight off with "surf-songs set in the key of sea." Thanks!

Enjoyed how there are many conceptual keys with reasons for exitence! Beautiful poem with ringing sound effects!

I like all your keys. It's playful and serious at the same time - well done.
