You disturb me at your peril:
I am wild, I am not feral,
never tamed to human hand.
Tread with caution through these bushes,
part with care the waving rushes,
stranger in a painted land,
stunned and captive, hypnotized
by unblinking topaz eyes
victim of your own surprise,
watch your blood spill on the sand.
