Blow gently on my heart; you may hear music
some folk tune, ballad, cheerful melodies.
Blow harder and you might get Harlem jazz
or Sousa marches, brass bands thumping.
(I leave orchestral music to bigger hearts than mine!)
But set it to your ear and hold your breath,
wait for the wind to blow
and you’ll hear blues.

Nice poetry piece! Happy MM!
That's lovely! Did you write it?
You are indeed very poetic. Have a great ♥ ♥ MM. :)
The blues do live in your heart at all times. It only takes a reason to start them playing.
