The camellias bloomed like a scarlet explosion
against glossy green leaves and grey explosions
of spring thunder, lightning, hail on the window
rattling like tiny white artillery explosions
all fueled by south-facing glimpses of sunlight,
distant and continuous thermonuclear explosions
reverberating from the center of our annual orbit
third-generation child of the universal explosion
driving the sap from the root to the flower
buds bursting open in soundless explosions!

I'm so ready for that spring explosions. I'm so ready. Beautiful. Have a great MM. :)
You've got me longing for some chirping birds and moist soil to plant in too!
Happy MM! :D
'reverberating from the center of our annual orbit

That kind of explosion I like too !!
Without a doubt, sooner or later, it will happen!
I enjoyed this explosive poem!
Come on spring!
Wow a ghazal! Glad to see it.
Spring can't get here fast enough for me. It was 60 degrees yesterday and it's 40 today. Bah!

SPRING IT BABY!
Happy Monday, come check out my explosive post!
It is amazing just how fast spring happens when it decides to appear. One day grey and dismal, the next a riot of color.
Wonderful poem.
This most definitely makes me long even more for spring - which I've been doing for quite some time now as it is!
that's a lovely poem - the imagery was fab.
