and i do believe one eventually does become numb to the trials and tribulations of other humans,, when it is forced upon them for extended periods of time... i am so glad i live all alone and far away from anyone else.....

Compassion fatigue is such a telling line - probably experienced in real time by many who try to get a handle on this very strange place we're living! Nice work!
