original artwork by Suikang Zhao
Between water and air there's--
just an idea.
There's the surface of the emptiness
of the curled ripple
like the shape of the inside of a jar.
And we float
in this space, two-dimensional
and curving
knowing nothing of air and less
of water.
We are depthless colored shadows
or bright gleams,
we are reflections on the face of the deep
words in the mind of God.

What a beautiful look into the depths of this artwork. You truly give this piece a separate voice from the original artist. Well done. Have a nice day.
