I went to bed and the map was red
I went to bed and the map was red
Lord, I was 'fraid to lay down my head.
Woke this morning and the map was blue
Woke this morning and the map was blue
Praise be to God, the world was new.
Sun come up and it sure felt strange
Sun come up and it sure felt strange

Very, very, nice! I feel that change! And does it ever feel great!
change is inevitable.
change for the sake of change is lunacy
i hold my hope in my throat
don't want to have to swallow it
again
And the people all said...
AMEN!
Has there ever been a candidate that didn't run on the promise of change?
This exuberant song (yes, it should be sung, and loudly)reflects my feelings well. I'm glad you posted twice about change. They are so different but so eloquent.
I like the word "map" and all the symbolism attached to it!
the emphasis through repetition delivers your simple (yet complex) message loud and clear!
