For everyone who has lived with
the red music of burning glass
For everyone who has looked into
the steel tiger's fangs
For everyone who has hidden from
the shrill scream of the black bird's eggs
danced on the bullet-scarred walls of the world
walked through the forge of mountains and the cradles of rivers
surfed the iron tide—
this earth-square is yours and yours alone
peace forever and ever, amen.

Tiel, I feel like you had me in mind when you wrote this one. These words have touched so many levels of my emotion I can't begin to say how much I love this poem. Nice job. Have a nice day.
I loved this one. This is the line that captured me most:
danced on the bullet-scarred walls of the world
what a lovely poem, with so much emotion wrapped up in it. Thank you for sharing it.
