I get to list five of my favorite things, and five of my favorite blogs. It's always hard to say what my favorite things are. Let's list five things I did recently that I really enjoyed:
A long drive in the countryside, with mountains, fog, steep river valleys, and killer music on the CD player.
An afternoon at Kilauea with my parents and husband.
A weekend visiting old friends, staying up talking until all hours of the night.
Participating in a poetry reading at the best bookstore in the entire world-- Powell's.
Watching Barack Obama's acceptance speech on election night.
Favorite blogs: These aren't necessarily them; these are blogs I find useful and/or enjoyable, and that update fairly regularly.
