Beloved, come out from behind your veils,
from behind the waterfall and the night sky
the sandstone cliffs and the murmuring trees.
I know you are there. You blind me
with the beauty of the world. You hide
from me in the flash of the lightning
and the ripple of sunlight across grass.
You blind me with awe. I can see you only
with my eyes closed. I can hear you only
in silence.
