Snare
Loves me some haiku....
And yours was terrific
not sure I took this right. Seems kind of eerie and sad. As always, masterfully written.
Poor kid. Brutal in a sense. Very stark imagery.
She needs to play with the doll! lol
A touch of chill in this! Nice work!
Snared by perfection - almost sends a chill...:)
Very nice!
i thought this was a bit sad ! well written :)
Simple and sweet :) Nicely done.
"snared by perfection" gives a sense that she prefered a porcelain doll to a real child. that made this feel sad.
Does she think she wouldn't be a good mother? Does she practice with this doll to make perfect? Or, is it simply a porcelain doll in a cradle? Well written. Hope all is well.
Beautiful and sad, whichever meaning was intended. I like how this is so open to interpretation. The feeling I get..she treats her own baby like a breakable doll, afraid to touch her.
