The throneroom was full of cats
but only one cat nervously captured the royal arm
by sitting on the King's sleeve.
The palace chandler had been suborned
to help in an assassination attempt
but a demon politely spat on the deadly candle—
it had been summoned by a helpful wizard.
The King's son was attending
Galactic Hub University, via interstellar email
but his term paper file was corrupted
and his instructor had to decode it
and so, the alien cleaned an electronic paper.
And the sentencing judge told me all this
when he explained why I was going to jail
for the unrestrained use of randomness.
