We used to collect bees in jars when I was a kid, until the day my father explained why this was a bad idea. This brought back memories.
What wonderful imagery...I loved this.
Nothing like the hum of bees. That's the image that hum brought for me as well.

that makes me smile...remembering a friend of mine when little used to trap bees in his hand and shake listening to them hum and buzz...never got strung.. thank you for the remembrance
