There are diamonds in the deepest mines
and the dead-stick cereus blooms once in a hundred years.
The night is filled with stars and luminous clouds
and the sea burns with the lives of a million tiny creatures.
There is no room for sorrow
when the sun laughs back at you from every puddle.
