We've often thought OHSU was the Mines of Moria, but that seems rather upside-down. Maybe it's the Necromancer's Castle (Dol Guldur: Sauron's summer getaway cabin in the woods). Somewhere in the multiple basements, Thrain son of Thror is being held prisoner...

Actually, if OHSU is being financed with the last of the Seven Rings of the Dwarves, it would explain a lot.
