I am so tired of time
every tick of the clock weighs a ton on my back.
I'm tired of time. I want to stop the sunflowers
from moving
the dandelion clocks from telling time. I want
to freeze the ripples on the pond and make them
hold one moment
reflected in the undulating glass. One photograph,
still lying in the grass where dandelions blow
one breath held
and then let go.
