Sometimes you have to go a long way to get back,
to find the path that leads to your front door.
You hear a whistle down along the railroad track—
sometimes you have to go. The wrong way to get back
is not to leave. You’ll never find out what you lack
by staying home. Though traveling is a chore,
sometimes you have to go. The longing to get back
is how you find the path to your front door.
